We have a hinged-top box that we have full of the cornstarch peanuts.  We
got a huge box of them from TheFerretStore.com and the ferrets love them.
The forst time we filled the box the cat used it as a litter box and we
didn't think it was going to be such a good idea (you can't imagine the
mess I had to clean up...)but I tried it one more time and the cats have
stayed away! (YEAH!)  The ferrets love it and I don't have to worry about
them ingesting anything that could get stuck.
