I just saw a frit on the 11:00 news!!!  The story had nothing to do
w/ferrets.  It was about a school girl in GA, whose mother gave her pepper
spray for protection - she was suspended from school because of GA's *Zero
Tollerance* law regarding weapons in school.
 
They showed a shot of the girl & her mom & they were both having a wonderful
time PLAYING WITH A FUZZY.  Neither of them were being mauled & both were
smiling & laughing while playing w/the frit, so I guess we got a little
positive publicity from the little PR fuzzy.

ROCKS!  Egg size round stones.  You can buy them in a nursery supply.  A
friend of mine used them - you can pour water right through, but the frits
can't dig them.

There are a couple of things you can do.  Put all your shoes on the top self
of the closet (that's what we had to do w/Maximillian), or get one of those
BIG gun safes ;)

I found...well Bijou found a new ferret toy.  Actually it's a free variation
on a popular favorite.  She went into a cereal box next to the garbage &
took the crinkly bag out.  She found it all by herself & really had a ball,
er...bag.  Word of advice: before introducing - dump crumbs
