7 yr old Shane crossed the Rainbow Bridge sometime between last night
and this morning. He spent the first half of his life as an education
ferret going to Pet Stores and local Pet expos. He and Kaya who passed
last year at 6 yrs loved going places and put up with being handled by
a wide variety of kids tweens and teens. Dan and I stopped doing the
ferret education days about 4 yrs ago. Between gigis and in retirement
Shane lived with several other ferrets and Loki the mink in a giant
playpen filled with bedding, tubes and toys. We don't know what took
since his weight was good and he still played with the younger ferrets.
