MASSACHUSETTS FERRET FRIENDS sponsors ...

The FRISKY FERRET SHELTER OPEN HOUSE
                               ... and BENEFIT RUMMAGE SALE

SATURDAY, August 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

** RUMMAGE SALE items include furniture, hardware, tools, toys, books,
crafts, collectibles, clothing, small animal cages and accessories,
museum-quality computers and parts, and lots more!

** REFRESHMENT STAND offers soft drinks, baked goods, hummus, strawberry
shortcake, more!

** The shelter OPEN HOUSE features information on ferret care, adorable and
adoptable ferrets, and a look at how a shelter operates.

** The Massachusetts Ferret Friends will also have an information table, and
offers the opportunity to join the group and accessories for your ferret!

DIRECTIONS: The shelter is located in North Reading, about 20 miles north of
Boston.

Take Interstate 93 to Exit 40. From Exit 40, take Route 62 East to North
Reading. Go about 2 miles on Rt 62 East, turn left on to North Street.
Take North Street to the lights at Main Street (Route 28), and turn left on
to North Street.

On Main Street, you wil pass a set of lights, a Sears Shopping Center, and
North Shore Printing. Take the first right turn after the print shop on to
Pluff Avenue. There is a hair salon called the Mane Attraction on this
corner.

The shelter is the third house down Pluff Avenue on the left.

NOTE: This is a "human-oriented" event; there will be no ferret contests or
activities. If you do bring your ferret, it must be in a carrier, leashed
when out of the carrier, and MUST have proof of current rabies and distemper
vaccination. Do not ever bring a sick ferret or a ferret too young to be
fully vaccinated to a ferret event.

The shelter will be accepting applications and deposits for adoption at the
Open House.
