Here's what I think happened Michael/Limejello.
 
You carried the ferret around too long!  I know how you pack those ferret
guys around - never letting their little feeties touch the floor.  After a
while the poor kid just couldn't hold it any longer and you just happened
to be walking close to the wall when it happened.  Could you go back and
look at it again and let us know if it looks like it was flung unward or
flung downward?  If you need help determining this - call Ed.  On second
thought, don't!
