Ahn,
Your friend will know you have not followed his care directions when he gets
back & find happy, healthy, beautiful ferrets.  I suggest you honestly tell
him what you have been doing (in detail) & why.  Maybe you will teach him
things he never even knew he should have known.  (Huh?) You should know you
run the chance of him getting upset w/ you, but I don't see how you can give
them any thing but the best care you know how to while they are with you.
