Pet names aside (*WEG*), my hubby calls ours "attack tube socks" or
"tube socks with claws".

"Cat tunnelers" works, too -- it's a hoot to watch Pixie try to dig
a hole in the bed UNDER the sleeping Foo-cat.

"Fuzzmunchers"...

"Dumpsters"...

"Trashferts" (Indy is the original garbage-fert; anything that even
appears to be a wastecan goes down for the count!)

...and we have others, but I'm not very awake, and my mind isn't
working well.
