Not at all?  In that case, yes, take her in for a checkup, probably
including (for a 5-year-old) a basic set of blood tests.  And get her a
canine distemper vaccination while you're at it!  (Rabies vaccine is also
highly recommended.) See questions 8.2 and 8.4 in the Ferret FAQ, "What
vaccinations will my ferret need, and when?" and "What kind of checkups
should my ferret be having?"
