On the subject of "coat blowing", I live in Central Oregon ( and it gets
real cold here) and Katie has already "blown" her coat.  Actually about a
month ago, she lost *ALL* the hair on her back and sides (the "saddle" area)
all at once, I started brushing and 10 min.  later she had a bald back.  The
rest of her hair on legs, head, tail shed off *normally* over the next few
weeks.  She's 'bout all done now.
