Oh come on lol.  Animals can be a Hobby.  This here is out of my
Dictionary "An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular
occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure.".  Well i have to say
being given that definition That perhaps they are my hobby as well as
all other animals.  Because they give me Pleasure and are a HUGE interest
to me.  When you look at your ferrets I am sure you feel nothing but
pleasure.  Well Maybe my rescue is a Hobby as well just an extremely
passionate one.  I do it outside my job, and it gives me pleasure.  Her
saying that they are a Hobby does not strike me as bad in any way shape
or form.  Infact in the reptile world which i also belong to, alot of
owners call themselves Hobbyists.  Nothing wrong with that at all.  So
come on give her break.  Oh and you said you didnt knwo fo a Rescue who
would refer to it as a Hobby?  Well now you do.
