Hi and Dooka-Dook to all the fur-kids,
 
Well, today seemed to be a nice enough day to do some cleaning and air the
place out a bit.  The kids were all in the cage, jsut snoozing away on this
lazy afternoon.  Not so much as a peep was heard and I dusted, straightened
out, vacuumed and cleaned a few spots.
 
A few eyes opened as I reached into the cage to clean out the litter boxes.
They just looked as if to say "Oh, it's you dad", and went back to their
fuzzy dreams.
 
Well, when I got finished I thought the kids should be rewarded with a
treat for being so good.  Going into the kitchen I mixed a double batch of
Fuzzy Soup.  Coming back into the room I clinked some plates together to
get their attention.  Not one member of the flurry moved.  Well, maybe a
yawn.  Hmmmm ?
 
I figured once I poured the soup into plates, they would wake up.
Nothing ... I went to the cage and stuck the plastic mixing spatula, with
soup still on it, under their sleeping noses.  WHAM !!!!!!  Eyes flew
open, FERRET FRENZY !!!  Literally BoUnCiNg OfF tHe BaRs !!!!.  The new
kid, Racer, grabbed the spoon from my hand.  It was a trip watching the
others chase her around the cage !!!  The doors were opened and fuzzies
tore from the cage.  Even Racer, spatula still in her mouth!!
 
After the feeding frenzy, they took a moment to bask in the moment and
lick their chops clean "Ummmmmmmmmmm Fuzzy Soup .......".  Of course, the
moment didn't last long.  Weezil Whoopie Dance time !!!!!  Running,
bouncing, flying furry kritters over every inch in the room.  Looking at
them, knowing how happy they were, watching them destroy my hard work,
only one thought crossed my mind ..........
 
Why did I bother cleaning to begin with ?
