Some of you may have heard this story of mine, so I'll tell the short
version. I got my first 2 ferrets, Brutus and Cleo from Ed in 1996. I
also got 2 of his chain collars. Brutus was wearing his collar when he
escaped and ran 2 houses down, into the open back door and into the shower
with my neighbor. When she finished screaming, she noticed the collar
and realized he was a pet and not the rabid raccoon she had thought.
Her husband put Brutus into a dog carrier where I found him a half hour
later. = )
