I had also picked up a feather duster for ferret play. I got it for a buck
at the grocery, with bright blue feathers. It's holding together pretty
well...but I keep it out of reach when I'm not there to supervise. Rocky is
so-so about it, (prefers the ball roll game), Brit has a blast...but
*really* likes Rosa's harness, or specifically, the bell on the harness.
It's so funny when I wave it around, and she chases it, I've never heard a
ferret chitter like that *g*.

I felt like I had a human child earlier today....I was answering e-mail, and
Rocky was out. He'd come up to me and look at me with that "see, I'm sweet"
look, I'd say "not now, I'll play with you in a minute". After a bit he'd
go off to do something for a little while, then come back and look at me
some more, and I'd say something simmilar. After about the third time he
actually started looking disappointed (so I would give him a raisin). Well,
it was a few more time of him doing this before I could actually play with
him, and then he was *so* delighted *L*.

He's got competition though....his favorite non-supervised activity being
dumping over the cat water. Well, today, after Rosa rendered the new child
gate useless in about 10 minutes, Brit made her first venture into the
kitchen, (or was this yesterday?) and discovered the joys of Rocky's
favorite passtime. The guy better watch it...she'll be able to hold her own
against him in a fight in a few weeks too! *L*

Sue "in a minute, I'm busy"
Rocky "play or raisin?"
Rosa "hey, look! I can put the new child gate over!"
Brit "TIP the cat water!"
