Hello Mainers. I just moved in town (am still homeless and looking for a
place) from Maryland. I have 2 ferrets at this time, and am interested
in finding out about local owners and factilities in town. I am used to
Ferret-specialist physicians and would like people's opinion on who they
trust. I heard there may be a good place or two, but would like to hear
it from owners who have had real problems with their ferrets and have
seen their babies survive surgeries and advanced treatments from their
doctors in Maine (as most of us have experienced - if you do not have a
ferret doctor with the ability to lop out either adrenal or a chunk of
pancreas with ease, your ferrets tend to not live too long with an
inexperienced doctor or a cat & dog only vet trying to figure out how
to treat your ferrets using a manual rather than experience).

Thanks, and please email directly.,

Mark H.
