In reply to Ela's message about the harnesses I recommended, I TOO had the
same exact thing happen to me with "Snickers". He was busily squirming all
over the place and I snapped the clasp in place. Well, when it was time to
take it off, I couldn't. Now what do I do? I tried, tried, cursed and tried
some more. Then my 11 year old son was busy analyzing the situation. He
said, "hey Ma, did you notice there is a little piece of plastic in the
center part of the male end that HAS to line up with the center of the female
end?" Talk about feeling stupid. Here an 11 year old kid told me what to
do.'
So with a pair of plyers, I gently and FINALLY got the clip off undamaged
except for a little scratch.

So every time after that, I looked at the clip and even with the wiggles that
the kids give me (the fuzzy kids that is) no problems at all. Just be
careful with them. YOU HAVE TO LINE UP THE CENTER CLIP!!!!

By the way, Pam Grant does make GREAT harnesses, just my guys are little
Houdini's and get out of them. It's a shame because I really like the colors
she has and with Chip being almost all white (he's a very light patterned
silver, and I mean very light- a few guard hairs on his back that show up
more when he is wet than dry) her color choice could be so fashionable for
him!!!!

So whatever harness, either Hagan or Pam's just make sure they can't get out
of them and properly line up the clips on the Hagan's and you will never have
a problem again.
