Hi Friends-

ANOTHER CLOSE CALL!

Well Jack Frost has taken away the cold and snow but we sure do keep
things going here at the shelter. We had to have a FUNERAL on Saturday--
for the washing machine. Uncle Greg was over for the meetup and stopped
here on the way- so shelter Dad put him to work hauling the big square
thing down the stairs and onto the porch after he spent 3 hours trying
to put in a new clutch-- it still was dead.

This we think is NOT a sad occassion-- For once we can have our beds left
alone-- but Mom says that the 'spection man who comes to make sure we
have plenty of kibbles, fresh water and clean cages is NOT going to like
this, nor is she.

She is really sad because so much has broken down this year between the
van, the copier and now the washer -- Maybe some melatonin would fix
them? Mom is feeling a tad overwhelmed -- geez maybe she needs some
melatonin too??!!! I dunno, but seems that if it works on Gravy it ought
to work on the copier AND the washing machine thing I am not sure about
the Green Goddess she is a whole lot bigger and if Dad cannot fix it- and
the garage cannot fix it then I guess melatonin won't fix her either!!
Meanwhile we are happy smellin' like ferrets .

PRAYER REQUEST!
Boo-Boo has had a REAL 'mergency this weekend. His waterworks plugged up
and the foster folks rushed him to the hospital for a 'mergency visit
Sunday - then called MOM. They were able to unplug him and gave him
fluids, a shot of antibiotics and sent him home on more meds... Mom
called Dr Winnie and she is Fed Ex-ing up monthly Luprons to the vet
there- and Mom has over-nighted more ferretonin-- we need you all to keep
Boo-Boo in your prayers. Afterall his Daddy is hoping when he comes back
form driving his tank that BooBoo and the others ( Dargo, Emily & Casper)
are all waiting to greet him. Meanwhile Mom says the vets have to get
paid to keep us healthy before she can get a washing machine. ( Ferrets
happily dancing over the bedding piles).

BECAUSE ALL THIS HAS come at once-- it is more 'portant Mom says to get
our bedding clean -- than to educate which our current fundraiser was for
( copier, etc.,) so the current raffles being run ( see Frolic Issue 1
2005) if you did not get one in the mail Mom can email it to you-- anyway
the proceeds will benefit the washing machine fund--! With so many
geriatric kids she says this MUST get replaced - I guess that is because
Disney seems to prefer the throw rugs to the newspapers-- If you were
over 100 you might too!

Anyway we sure would appreciate it if folks might be willing to check out
the raffles items and maybe get a ticket or two.. you will be happy
knowing we are closer to clean bedding and you Might actually win one of
4 great prizes. Drawing is June 1st!

Email me if you want more information on the raffle- or how you
can help - please email me - so folks won't get riled with our
advertisements!
