Our second ferret many years ago was a retired breeder. Why had Haleakala
been retired? Because male ferrets sometimes get rough during breeding and
she wound up with a male's canine through an eye. She never did let an
adult male ferret near herself again.

Did anyone else find that the cross-species assumptions were rather a
stretch?

I also wondered about the appropriateness of some of the comments, given
that there are kids here whose parents have to judge their readiness for
some materials.
