One month after our dear Nikita arrived and was settled with the heard,
something changed. Lance, and occasionally Loki, began to "beat up"
darling Nikita. Even patete little Smokey was incensed by their actions
toward her gal pal, and Smokey began taking up for the albino that is at
least twice her size.

Despite Smokey's help, the situation worsened. One morning, Nikita had a
collection of scabs on her neck-- not on top of it, but under her chin!
I don't know what is happening with my heard, but I knew I had to
separate them.

I had two multi floor cages connected with miles of tubing, but the cages
are no longer joined. Nikita, Smokey, and Pirate are together in one,
while Lance, Loki, and Merlin are in the other. Nikita and Smokey seem
much happier separated from my younger three boys; Pirate really doesn't
care (all he wants is to be with his mommy); Lance, Loki, and Merlin seem
rather confused and are beginning to get frustraighted with their new
living conditions.

It came out of the blue... Has this happened to any of you? Anyone with
some advice?
