As per my last email requesting information for the recipe for ferret tea,
I may have mislead people with my message about us being the first shelter
"per se" in the Ottawa area.  There is an existing Ferret Association in
Ottawa which has been doing rescue work for about 10 years.  They have
been very successful in their endeavors, and we have great respect and
admiration for their work.  However, in light of this, the hopefully to be,
shelter, that we would like to start, will be emphasizing public education
in Pet Supply Stores, and we hope to become incorporated and a
Not-For-Profit Charity.
 
I apologize for any confusion or disrespect to Pegge and Theresa, I had no
intention of minimizing the work they accomplished over the years.  We do
hope to be able to work with them in the future to make Ottawa a better
place for ferrets.
