Donna L Carlson wrote a very heartwarming post but the truth as i
understand it to be is that the Angel ferret shelter is closed, but even
so she is still on the shelter update list and still chasing funds and
benefits, the only ferrets in her care are her personal ferrets, she is
no longer listed in the Las Vegas Ferret Club newsletter as a shelter,
but only as a shop.  and she is still leading people onto believing she is
running a shelter and even signing with the shelter name, Donna ! that is
very Dishonest!  you are by doing so, hurting real shelters, that really
need the help, and most people trust that the funds sent to shelters to
help, really go to the shelter ferrets.  The other shelter she was
reffering to as "hosing down the cages" is in fact a real shelter, i
volunteer there as often as i can, and there is no sloppy cleaning going
on there, her shelter is open 7 days a week, and she has nothing to hide,
anyone can inspect at any time.  she gets up at four every morning and
starts rotating ferrets time out of the cage, and this goes on untill she
goes to bed, she works two jobs to support the shelter, and with the help
of her family the ferrets come first.  all the ferrets in her care are very
well taken care of, cages are clean, they all get quality food, their
treats, love and attention every day, they all go to the Vet as a rule when
first brought in, and they all get the medical attention they need.  I
don't know how she does all of of this, and i admire her a great deal, she
is a hero on my list.  she is CJ, she runns the 24 Carat Ferret Rescue and
Shelter.
