I'm at my wits end. I think my darling little Sneekers (9 month old
Albino) has this "neurotic" habit that drives me up a wall .... SHE LOVES
TO PLAY IN AND EAT LITTER! If I get the pellets (pressed wood litter) she
eats it. If I get clay, she rolls in it and sneezes until it looks like
her eyes are going to fly out. If I get scoopable (I know, I know, not
recommended), she jumps, bucks, rolls, kicks and tosses it everywhere like
a child in a sandbox. I've even tried mixing them. She's nuts. I'm
convinced.

Anyone else suffered from this problem and how did you solve it? I'm
scared to death to let her eat the pellets (I know it's going to block
her little tummy). I realize she has some sort of allergy to the other
(her face gets red, her eyes tear and her nose runs - not to mention the
earth-shattering sneezes!!!). I've even tried spraying Bitter Apple on
the litter and tapping the end of her nose with it to deter her -- all I
got was the "Yeah, right Mommy, like that's going to stop me" look!

I almost lost her Thanksgiving morning. She got into something that to
this day I don't know and I found her laying in the middle of the floor
kinda heaving for breath. She had pooped on herself too. I was washing
her off when she sneezed, gasped and blood flew from her nose and mouth.
I rushed her to the emergency hospital (a 45 minute drive to another state
because they were the only one that had a "small animal specialist") and
am currently in debt for over $1,500. I really don't want to cause her
any more harm, but I'm totally befuddled as to what to do with her "litter"
problem.

HELP HELP HELP! This little Mommy is losing it!
