Hello to all@!

We all know that ferrets need a change of environment to keep the
crazies going. Otherwise, they lose their zest. And some people may
lose their interest.

Costco and Sams club have tons of boxes. Grab a few. Put an old rug
or towel inside with some plastic bags (handle portion made safe by
cutting through here so ferret does not get stuck here) and a clear
tube and old sheet over the boxes. Let them out to investigate. Join
in by gently throwing them out of a larger bag most of us have for
groceries onto a soft surface.

Look at flea markets and garage sales for something to throw rugs or
blankets over that will make a tent, be a new source of excitement,
and cost a buck or two. Put away toys that they are tired of in the
garage or storage unit for a month or so to give them time to forget
the items.

I was seeing several flat ferrets lately. Off for boxes and an old
sheet from the garage, and a scratching post someone just gave me,
and I added a few towels. We have been running around and leaping and
chatting up a storm for hours. They have just exhausted themselves in
the last 20 minutes.

Don't lose that loving feeling. Relationships take time and commitment.
Revitalize your relationship with your ferret or ferrets. Wrapping
paper causes hysteria. Tried that lately?

Share any things you have tried that make your ferret happy
