Hi,
I spent yesterday morning looking for a lost ferret. While on my way over
to my friend's house, this idea occurred to me.

Ferret Search and Rescue Team(s) What if there were a way to actually
organize a search team for a local lost ferret? It will need for those in
each area to have a their e-mail addresses listed with a central point.
Not names, just the e-mail so they can be contacted, and the location for
ex. St. Louis metro area, or St. Clair county. The area range they will
be willing to work search in.

Then when a ferret is reported lost, a bulletin can go out to those
responding in that area and an actual search type operation can be
organized quickly. It will mean that as soon as a ferret is reported
lost, people can mobilize to find it.

Everyone will still have the opportunity to say no to becoming involved.
But more so anyone especially when there is a shelter(s) in the area can
help with finding the lost little one.
