I used to do visits at a local nursing home with my dog, and we had to be
cautious about the same issue.  If you got permission from the home and
any resident pictured you might be able to post a couple of the pictures,
conditional on you not mentioning the person's full name or anything "of
a personal" nature.
 
My team made it into the local paper a couple of times as promo for the
visitation program, so it isn't impossible to publicize photos.  The only
team in our program who never made it in was the one that took animals to
the young offender centre.  I don't think I have to explain why publishing
photos of underage offenders is a problem (although we did publish a
photo of that team with the centre's staff--just no visitees).
