    This color I noticed in Timmy where he was shaved for his operation last
year, and a few days later new fur was noticed growing in.  Dr. Bell in her
new book on ferrets talks about this color just being the beginnings of new
fur growth.  I'd not worry for at least a few days & see what "develops".
