Hi.  I have a chihuhua and she does great with the ferrets!  They play
together all the time.  One of my ferrets Doodle I think is attached to
Belle (chihuhua).  It's so cute because Doodle will follow Belle around
the house and when Belle lays down Doodle will lay down right next to
her.  I also call Belle my ferret protector because when I first got my
bulldog Maggie. Belle would not let maggie get anywhere near the ferrets
she would growl at her.  Also, if any one Belle does not know comes to
vist she will not let them near the ferrets either.
 
Maybe you could find someone that has a chihuhua you are intrested in and
would let you do a supervised introduction first to see how they react to
each other?If the person really wants to sell/adopt the chihuhua I dont
see why they would have a problem with it.
