Alan,
I was very interested in your preliminary report re ferret mortality.  I
concur with all of your assessments of the study design problems, and the
need for great caution in interpreting the data.  I am trained in public
health and epidemiology, and I will dl the file you cited and see what I
can "massage" out of it.  Whatever, all of your caveats still stand.
 
I appreciate your efforts in this project.  Thank you.
