Dear FMLer's
 
Please don't waste any energy faulting Gloria Davis of the GLFA.  Gloria's
first ferret, Scout, was killed by Mich.  DPH in just such a case as Kodo's.
Gloria's heartbreak over Scout has made her one the most vital forces for
ferret rights in the State, and you will never meet a more loving, concerned
ferret owner.
 
The GLFA has been fighting this fight since long before Kodo was
confiscated.  Kodo is now a *focus*, but true legalization of the domestic
ferret in Michigan remains the ultimate goal.  Believe me, we would all
rather see Kodo as a live, happy reminder of our sucess than as another
martyr like Scout.
 
Keep those cards, letters, e-mails, faxes, and dollars comin' in!  We have
not yet begun to fight!
