Rota virus

Three weeks ago my male ferret Oscar had green slimmy poop!  I was told he
had rota virus.  The vet told me to make sure he had plenty to drink, I
gave him alot of pedialyte and she put him on chloramphnicicol 250 mg.
broke into quarters.  I could not get Oscar to take the medicine.  I tried
EVERYTHING!  I made sure he drank alot and the virus ran its course.  About
four days.  He is fine now.
