I am adopting 2 older ferrets this weekend (YEAY!!!!!), and have a couple
more questions regarding ferrets in general:
 
1)What does everyone think about ferret wheels? (12-in) I've seen them in
stores, but have never heard of anyone using them. Do ferrets like them? Are
they safe?
 
2)Now a health question - if a ferret gets sick (with whatever, for whatever
reason), can the illness be transmitted to another animal (dog, cat, small
furry things, reptiles, etc), or to a person? This may be a dumb question,
but I know that mice and humans can exchange certain sicknesses, and would
like to know if ferrets are similar.
