I am in desperate need of finding a nearby shelter or facility that can
board my two ferrets (never exposed to ECE) from June 5 to June 8.  I have
to go out of town on business and taking them with is not an option.  The
local vets that board pets say they can take the ferrets, but cannot let
them out of their cage for exercise.  I am looking for a place where they
can get out for a few hours a day to run around and be ferrets.
Unfortunately, local relatives refuse to do it as they don' like my "rats"
and the neighbors are too involved in other things or don't know enough
about ferrets to let them out a couple of hours twice a day.
 
I live in NW Indiana between Valparaiso and Crown Point.  Any consideration
or idea would be greatly appreciated.
