Hi All!
Jerimiah the famous Jr ferret here at Ferret Wise!
 
Well the kid Sterling is raising a LOTS of commotion over here-- he seems
to be doin' so good since the vet visit and shot-- maybe I could get one
of those shots and they would be bustling about me too?
 
Bear is doing well on his meds, but is getting slower & slower each day--
it is raining for 2 more days and I thinks he just misses his walks-- but I
am glad he has to stay in- 'cause I haven't been out yet!
 
There wa a bunch of folks around this weekend-- what a riot.  Some gal got
me so excited I chomped on shelter MOM REAL good-- but I didn't mean to-
It kind of just happened.  Mom said it was because I wasn't used to the
excitement-- and she will have to make sure they don''t get me all riled up
again-- whatever that means-- I was running and racing and chasing -- etc.
Phew, was that fun-- Moms hand i doing better and she still hugs me and
all-- I guess I kind of lost track of things in the busy crowd!  The
shelter folks are getting a postcard mailing ready bout Ferretstock-- if
anyone wants information on Ferretstock-- NOW is the time to email the
folks and let them know!
 
They have over 60 auction items listed so far with some more items promised
in this week!  Wow there is some really nice stuff-- IF I find a way I
might help myself to a few of those things! :)
 
The prize bags for all the ferrets who win contests are filling a HUGE
box-- guess there will be lots of winner this year-- hmmm, which do I want
to win??  Next week the folks are coming to build posters, signs etc and
there is supposed to be a big banner / poster for everyone to sign in on!
This ought to be one neat show!  They have added a second trophy for the
ferret furthest travelled to the event-- so there will be a runner up
trophy -- this is real neat -- I want to see what ferrets look like from
far away-- some shelter kid a while ago said they have slanty eyes???
Guess I will find out.  I still think that I am the cutest ferret-- but I
guess they still plan on looking at photos-- that prize box for the cutest
ferret photo is really getting big.  They put treats, polar fleece blankie,
hammocks tent, toys, toys and more stuff- and they said it isn't full
enough yet-- some kid is going to be able to fill their own shelter with
all this stuff!
 
Oh yeah I am supposed to be invitin'' any ferret kids who want to enter the
photo contest to send ( or have your folks send) your picture $3 donation
(for each photo) and a self addressed stamped envelope for return to:

The winning pic gets published on the shelter web site too!  You get to be
really famous-- maybe almost as famous as me!
 
Hope to see you all at the event!  Should be really neat I want to watch
the soap makers too!  And listen to that dead head music, and get a reiki
massage, and have a ferret tarot reading by the friend of Miss Sugar the
famous "Ferretscope" gal, and chow on the free TF food etc.  folks with
