A small shelter would wonder why an animal control agency who has
contacted just about the furtherest ferret shelter in the state, not
the first time, because no other ferret shelters, much, much closer,
all just say.. "Sorry, we're full", or "Nope, we already have enough
older ferrets".

This particular agency is a "kill" shelter. They really seem to be
going out of their way to find a ferret-specific shelter...soooo..
Why say no to these ferrets? These are the ferrets who need ferret
specific shelters THE MOST.

Anyone have any reasonable answers that make sense?

Saddened and bewildered.
