I totally agree with Quality of Life, not Quantity of Life. The problem
is that it is so hard to tell when one stops and the other starts.

My feeling is as long as they are comfortable, not in pain and able to
move around it is still quality time. Yes sometimes our judgment gets
clouded by our emotions and I think every person who has had to put a
baby down always wonders, "did I do it too soon, did I do enough?"

It is such a hard call to make, so many variables, but in the end we have
to ask ourselves, "if this were me, what would I want?". We just have to
walk in our babes paws to know the answer, even if we don't like the
answer in our heart.
