I think you guys are getting out of hand on this. Who are you to say it
is right or wrong for them to sell ferrets. That is one of the things
wrong with this country, a few people trying to tell every one else what
to do. This is supposed to be a free country. Also, what if there are
no petco's but a petsmart in a person's area? Then they wouldn't be able
to get them if petsmart didn't sell them. What if there are no shelters
within reasonable driving range: I know in my case there are only two
shelters in the whole state and they are almost on they opposite side
of the state from me. Also another good point is that a lot of the
ferrets in shelters are a few years old, I think people are doing a
great service by adopting these ferrets but what if you want a young
one so you can develope a strong bond with your ferret. I think this
is very important. To be able to develope a good bond with your ferret
as he grows. Somtimes it is hard to do that with an older one. I not
saying you can't with an older one. Also why aren't you attacking the
countless pet shops that sell ferrets? There are petshops litterd
throughout the country that sell them, and often are more neglected in
these small shops. I'm not saying you guys are right or wrong but you
need to stop and think about this....
