I wanted to fly into Atlanta from the West coast using Delta airlines
but the rate is a little silly. From Portland to Atlanta is $335 R/T.
If I fly thru Atlanta into Orlando the price drops to $202 R/T. The
evil part of me thought just book into Orlando and get of off the plane
but the airlines said I could do that for the first part but because I
wouldn't be boarding in Orlando (on the return) it would cancel my flight
from Atlanta forward. So, I gave up on that and decided to fly Southwest
($200 R/T) into Augusta, supposedly 140 miles away.

Is there any reason (other than the time) that I wouldn't want to drive
into Atlanta from Augusta? You know, rough roads, too many tolls etc.
This is, of course, for the International Ferret Congress gathering in
October.

Thanks,
MAry Jo
