Hi everyone!!  I want to update you on Teesha.  The vet believes this is an
ulcer and probably not stress related but caused by a bacteria...Her RBC was
22...normal is 35-45..so she was at half her RBC!!  No wonder she lost her
sparkle....Thank goodness I brought her in when I did.....She will be on
meds for 4-6 weeks....amoxi, carafate, and pepto (if she agrees to it).  She
couldn't give her the standard med for ulcer because she hated it!  She
foamed at the mouth and shook her head violently...she didn't want me or her
to go through that for 6 weeks!!  She is eating small portions and
pooping....there is blood in her stool but no frank blood...Only time will
tell if she will get better but her prognosis looks good......I will keep
you updated......Thanks for listening!!!  If you have had this experience...
