N sewing necessary. Get an old sock or new one. Thigh high if you will,
fill it with rice and tie a knot in the top. Works great for humans or
ferrets. If the ferret pees or poops on it....dump the rice, wash the
sock, reheat and use again.

Just ALWAYS check the sock's temperature and even give it a good shake
to spread out the heat so no one is burned!

Many vet offices do this to supplement body heat.
