I just got back from the vet with Teru.
 
Clean bill of health.  I asked about a bald spot above Teru's nose and the
vet seemed worried that it might be roundworm (!!).
 
He checked it with a black light and said Teru had probably just rubbed the
fur off.
 
For those of you with ferrets with mysterious bald spots, maybe you should
check for roundworm.
 
Just a suggestion. .  .
