I wasn't sure where Keller is located, so I had to check it out on the
map. It's just east of Dallas/Ft Worth, and about 200 miles north of
where I live.

There are several ferret folks that I know in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
I'm not sure if ferrets are illegal in Keller, but they are within the
city limits of Dallas. However, most of the suburbs allow them. You
might want to check with the city's animal control just to make sure.
Rabies vacs are also a requirement in most locations in Texas so you want
to make sure you bring proof that your ferret is up to date on his vacs.
