To the Anonymous poster with 2 ferrets in his dorm room:
 
I'm curious about something.  You said that your ferrets stink too much (and
make too much noise) to take to class with you.  If you've been reading this
list for long, you'll have read lots of discussion about whether ferret B.O
is pleasant or unpleasant--but people are usually talking about NEUTERED
ferrets.  If their bedding is washed frequently, they don't have a very
strong odor.  (Most would agree, though, that an unneutered ferret,
especially a male, is just plain stinky.) So do your ferrets need to be
bathed or neutered?  And how likely are you to get past a "hello" with the
coeds if your ferrets smell that bad?  Just wondering.
