I received an email that included a solicitation from the American
Humane Association for their "Second Chance Fund". The stories
supporting the solicitation were of three separate incidents related to
three different ferrets, and was titled, "Sweet Ferrets Suffer Severe
Neglect". The stories are typical of the ones all shelter operators
hear daily; Sooooo, I went to their home page and read everything
available, about the organization, their mission and I was particularly
interested in how such solicited funds would be proportioned to so many
animal shelters needing financial support to care for the many abused
and severely neglected ferrets and other animals taken into local
shelters. After reading the many stringent and costly "Requirements"
that are necessary to even be eligible to apply for this money, I was
wondering "how many ferret shelters have ever received any funding
from this "Second Chance" AHA charity?"

Please, If YOU, or YOUR SHELTER has ever received any monies from this
charity, please email me PRIVATELY at [log in to unmask]
and please title your mail, "Second Chance".

Thanks, Dooks and Blessings,
