Avon's Skin So Soft is anecdotally and by common folklore considered to be a
safe and at least somewhat effective mosquito repellent.  It is used and
recommended for children by many daycare centers and preschools.
 
Avon very carefully does not make such claims for the product to avoid
regulation and proof of efficacy.
 
If it's safe for the two-legged kids, it should be fine for the four-legged
kids too.
 
Linda, Richard, Joy (the 2-legged kid who had SSS liberally applied at her
preschool), Belle and Caruso (4-leggers)
