Just a follow-up.  I said a while back I'd list some shelters that were
VERY gracious about recieving help.  (This was after someone expressed
disappointment about donations going unacknowledged, but I think it also
addresses a different current issue.) These guys have been a true joy to
help--I'm sure there are other gracious shelters out there.  BUT these,
especially, come to mind.  In no particular order:
 
Tiny Paw Prints on the Heart
HOFA
Fuzzy Furbabies

Ferretwise
Heaven Scent (yes, I know she's gone for now)
SJ Ferret Shelter
Felines and Ferrets
Ferret and Dove Sanctuary
