Hi everyone!

This is Michelle, Kina & Kobe here. On Thursday of last week, I took Kobe
into the vet's to get neutered because lately, he has been dragging Kina
around so harshly that he would draw blood from her. Well, we decided to
have him descented at the same time because we figured that we should get
it all done at once. My concern started when I saw his incisions for the
descenting. The vet told me that she used glue instead of sutures so that
I wouldn't have to worry about removing them. Is this a normal procedure?
I wouldn't have been so alarmed but on Monday the one incision opened up.
I know that he never licked or picked at it because I have been with him.
So, I took him back to the vet and she said to bacitracin on it and that it
was just an open wound and would heal, but it seems a little wierd to me.
Any thoughts on this. I hate keeping this gooey stuff on him, and having
to constantly clean litter from it.
One more thought....He has been smelling worse lately, since the
descenting, than he ever has!!! Any experiences on this?

Well, hope to hear from someone soon.
