Hello, everyone!
I just recently got back to my computer at the university, and of course,
after a three week break from reading the fml, I have a few questions, but
I'm only going to ask one for the time being.
 
My Seymour seems to have become quite the porker.  I know this has been
discussed an infinite number of times, but I have a bad habit of only
reading the posts that concern me at the moment.  How much should be given
to a ferret who is on a diet?  Would giving him cat food help since it has a
lower fat content?  He is one year old.  Any advice?
 
As for flames: I think this subject should be dropped in the near future,
but I saw someone post that they are asick of hearing people saying that
they had been flamed.  Well, I have to say that I get very, very upset when
I am flamed and become a bit reluctant to turn on my computer because I
don't want to find another mean-spirited message.  I certainly don't enjoy
being insulted or threatened.  I don't really see how anyone could.  I don't
think it's so wrong for people to want to get a little support from people
on the fml after they get flamed.  So if you don't like what people post on
the fml, do what you suggested that the people getting flamed do.  Don't
read it.  I didn't read the original message, but I guess BIG didn't find it
too inappropriate if it was posted.  I hope you will try to have a little
more sympathy in the future for those of us who don't enjoy pain.  (wonder
what BIG thinks of this.....?)

[Moderator's note: Well, the funny thing is that this last round of flame
complaints wasn't about something posted on the FML!  It was about people
sending subscribers nastygrams in personal email.  While I don't like to
know the FML is aiding this, it really is something beyond my control, I
think you all will agree.  Yes, there has been enough debate about it -
this FML is huge and there's already another issue backed up after this
one... time to devote our energies to more positive things IMHO.  BIG]
