Hi all!

First of all, thanks to all who had advice on air filters and purifiers!
We've been living with the windows open since we got Jasper and Willie in
June, and I was beginning to wonder whether we were going to have a house
that reeked of male ferret, or if we would simply freeze with the windows
open this winter instead! ;)

Second, I did a little research on back issues of the ferret list to see if
this question had been addressed before, but didn't find the answer I need.
Jasper and Willie are two stinky little boys who are due to be neutered
soon. They are about 4 months old now, and we were waiting til the weather
was cooler, and our vet's ferret specialist got back from vacation to get
it done. Recently, their smell has become much stronger and completely
obnoxious (plus I'm newly pregnant and quite queasy)... so my question
is, for how long after being "fixed" will they continue to be whole male
stinky?

On the bright side, they are very "helpful" when I'm feeling ill, and rush
over to help if I'm in front of the toilet. It's quite comical to have a
couple of ferrets climb up your back to "hold your hair". And they seem
so concerned....

Thanks in advance for your opinions on this matter.

 ;)
Pam
