I believe that ferrets go into such a deep sleep that they do become
completely limp.  When I used to pick up Spaz, sometimes  she was so limp
that I thought she was dead.  Once I yelled her name and it so startled her
that she went into a "frizz-ball" in mid air, jumped out of my hand and
looked at me like - WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU YELLING ABOUT?  Don't you wish
WE could sleep like that?
