Had an unexpected addition to our family: 7 of 6 (or just plain 7). It's a
pun on my dyslexia by Steve, and also a kind of way of saying "Well, yes,
he's # 7 but we're still saying there are 6." (Like heck there are!) who
feel in love immediately and named him within minutes. This wasn't
planned. We got a frantic call last night telling us that a general animal
shelter near us had an albino whose time was about up. We actually
arranged a home for him but then when we picked him up today found that
he's got more damage than we think the person might be able to deal with so
have sent her to Anne Ryan to adopt there. Trying to get the guy settle
enough now to clip claws and do other basic things, then he's gong to have
to go to the vets and he's definitely going to need an appointment for a
great deal of dental work, shots, etc. He's a DOLL!!!!!!! The folks at
the shelter obviously loved him and that shows, so that's good.
