All Right, I'm sure many people have already written this one in.  On the
new NBC show Providence a ferret was sort of a big part of the show.  The
main character's little brother used the fact that his dad was a vet to
"pick up" on a girl who had a ferret with a bad leg.  It was a cute little
ferret and was carried around through the whole show in a neat little wood
and wire carrying case.  Nobody in the show said anything bad about the
ferret, and thank goodness they didn't free it in the woods at the end of
the show!
